How this destiny matrix chart is built
This page does one thing: turn a birth date into a clear, downloadable destiny matrix chart. The octagram above is already live — it opens with a worked example for 15 March 1990, and the moment you pick your own birth date every number on the star is recalculated in your browser.
Click or tap any point of the destiny matrix chart to see which number sits there, the exact formula that produced it, and the major arcana it maps to. The full position table further down repeats everything in plain text, so nothing on this chart is hidden behind JavaScript.
The destiny matrix chart is drawn as two overlapping squares that form an eight-pointed star. Four anchor points sit at the compass positions: A on the left holds your birth day, B on top holds the month, C on the right holds the digit sum of the year, and D at the bottom holds their combination. E, the center of the destiny matrix chart, adds A, B, C and D together and reduces the result to the range 1 to 22.
Between the anchors, the four diagonal points AB, BC, CD and DA blend neighboring energies, and eight smaller inner points line the rays that run from the center outward. In this school the reduction rule is always the same: if a total exceeds 22, its digits are added together until it does not — so 23 becomes 5, 28 becomes 10, and 22 stays 22. That single rule governs every number you will see on any destiny matrix chart on this site.
For the example date 15 March 1990, the destiny matrix chart shows A 15, B 3, C 19, D 10 and E 11 at the anchors, with diagonals AB 18, BC 22, CD 11 and DA 7. You can verify each of these against the formula printed under any selected point — the chart never asks you to trust a black box.
Reading your destiny matrix chart position by position
Start at the center. E is the keynote arcana of the destiny matrix chart, the theme that colors every other point. Then move outward along one ray at a time: each anchor is softened or sharpened by the two inner points between it and the center, which is why two people with the same anchor number can express it so differently.
The horizontal axis of the destiny matrix chart contrasts the personal and the social. A, the day point, describes the energy people meet when they deal with you directly; C, the year point, describes the task you meet when you deal with the world. The vertical axis is more internal: B on top reflects emotional and family patterns, while D at the bottom — with the three karmic tail numbers stacked below it — carries the lessons this symbolic system associates with repetition and release.
Treat every reading of a destiny matrix chart as a prompt, not a verdict. The arcana keywords are broad on purpose; their value is in the questions they raise, not in fixed statements about your future.
Anchor points
A, B, C and D mark day, month, year and the combined karmic task — the four load-bearing walls of the destiny matrix chart.
Diagonal points
AB, BC, CD and DA sit at the corners of the square and blend their two neighboring anchors into secondary themes.
Center E
The blend of all four anchors — most readers start and end here when they interpret a destiny matrix chart.
Karmic tail
D1, D2 and D run from the center down to the bottom point; the dedicated karmic tail chart page lists all 26 possible combinations.
Download and share your destiny matrix chart
Every destiny matrix chart you build here can be exported as a PNG or SVG file with one click — useful for journals, vision boards or sharing with a friend. The exported image shows the finished star exactly as rendered, and the file name contains only a timestamp, never your birth date, so an exported destiny matrix chart never leaks personal data.
There is also a one-button copy for all numbers: anchors, diagonals and the karmic tail land on your clipboard as plain text, ready to paste into notes or a message. Both features run locally; the destiny matrix chart download works in current Chrome, Firefox and Safari without any plug-in.
A free destiny matrix chart should not cost your privacy. Nothing you type here is transmitted, logged or sold — open your browser's network panel while you calculate and you will see zero requests.
What a destiny matrix chart is not
A destiny matrix chart is not a medical, financial or psychological instrument, and no page on this site will claim otherwise. It is a symbolic birth-date art with roots in numerology and tarot, valuable for reflection, journaling and conversation. If you enjoy personality frameworks, the chart gives you a rich one; if you need real advice about health, money or relationships, please talk to a qualified professional.
The math, by contrast, is exact. Any destiny matrix chart from the same school will produce the same numbers for the same birth date — which is why we publish worked examples, keep the reduction rule fixed, and encourage you to check us against any other tool that uses the 22-arcana digit-sum method.
Methodology and sources
Our 22-arcana digit-sum method follows the public calculation school. The worked examples on this site (15/03/1990 and 17/11/1978) were cross-checked against these independent references:
